Policy Forum Guyana (PFG) launched its environmental education card game, Eco-Uno, at the Amerindian Peoples Association conference in Georgetown. This game is part of PFG’s 1.5°C Lifestyle Campaign, aiming to promote sustainable living in Guyana. Eco-Uno combines classic card game mechanics with environmental themes, encouraging players to address real-world sustainability challenges. The launch received positive feedback from indigenous leaders, students, teachers, youth groups, and diplomats. Benita Davis, PFG’s Project Coordinator, emphasized that Eco-Uno is more than just a game; it’s an educational tool that connects environmental issues with everyday actions. The game is part of a broader initiative that includes an Advocacy and Influencer Toolkit, Wayne’s Plastic Predicament Storybook, and the Green Screen Video Series, all designed to enhance environmental awareness and foster responsibility.
